Christmas Wishes from New Hampshire

Merry Christmas from snowy NH! Another foot today on top of all we've had already. Just wanted to update everyone on a couple of things. First, Joe's collarbone has healed and he is out of the sling. He still needs to take it easy on some activities (hanging, swinging from things), but he has already gone ice-skating and sledding.

Last night, Caleb received his advanced brown belt during a ceremony at the Quest Martial Arts Academy. He worked extremely hard for this and we are so proud of him! In order to move up, he had to pass a rigorous physical test as well as score a 94% on the very long written exam. He will be testing for his black belt in March.

Maggie and Caleb recently had their Christmas piano recital at a local nursing home. It went very well. This is a highlight for the residents, as they enjoy hearing (and singing along with) all the carols the kids play. We also hosted a recital for Maggie's piano students at our home. She is teaching three youngsters as well as her sister Emma and brother Joe.

The kids are all doing well with their schooling. It keeps Reese very busy. Maggie is in the 8th grade, Caleb in 5th, Emma in 1st and Joe is doing Pre-K/Kindergarden work.

Christmas Blessing to all during this Advent season!

Love,
Jay, Reese, Maggie, Caleb, Emma, and Joe
